【品嚐米芝蓮入選泰式滋味佳餚】
由泰國政府商務部國際貿易促進局(DITP)、香港理工大學酒店及旅游業管理學院(SHTM) 及 #澳門悦榕庄 聯手舉辦的「滋味佳餚 首選泰國」活動於7月24日在香港舉行。榮獲米芝蓮入選餐廳的「#尚坊」行政總廚Jan Ruangnukulkit更榮幸獲邀於香港理工大學為一衆嘉賓舉辦品味午宴。

「滋味佳餚 首選泰國」活動旨在攜手港澳地區的傑出泰國廚師以推廣正宗的泰式美味,活動邀請到泰國駐香港總領事吳豐燦先生、泰國政府商務部國際貿易促進局(DITP) 商務領事詹秀雅女士及澳門悦榕庄酒店經理陳祖艷女士出席活動。

主廚Jan當天特別呈獻六道菜品味菜單,其中的瑪莎曼咖喱連續10年蟬聯「全球美食Top50」榜首、被譽爲來自泰國南部的「咖喱之王」,熬制時配上荳蔻、丁香及肉桂等香料,為咖喱增添香辣味,Jan特別以和牛牛頰肉慢煮入饌,充滿口感之餘味道亦更加濃郁。

【Think Food Think Thailand — Savor Michelin-Selected Delights 】
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce of the Royal Thai Government in collaboration with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (School of Hotel and Tourism Management) and #BanyanTreeMacau, hosted “Think Food Think Thailand Tasting Luncheon” on July 24. In attendance were Mr. Chaturont Chaiyakam, the Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hong Kong, Miss Pannakarn Jiamsuchon, the Consul of The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and Ms. Joanne Chan, General Manager of Banyan Tree Macau.

The event aims to gather outstanding Thai chefs from Hong Kong and Macau to promote authentic Thai cuisine, bringing a different experience to food lovers around the globe, and also making Thailand known as “the Kitchen of the World”.

Jan Ruangnukulkit, the Executive Chef of Michelin-selected restaurant #Saffron, was honored to host a tasting luncheon at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. At the event, Chef Jan presented a six-course tasting menu featuring her signature Massaman Curry - “The King of Curries” that tops the list of The World’s 50 Best Foods - is cooked with spices such as cardamom cloves and cinnamon to infuse the curry with delightful aroma. Additionally, the use of slow-cooked Wagyu beef cheek adds a richness texture and imparts an intensely taste to the dish.
